HES - sold half, $3.30 profit on calls
POT - sold half, $4.00 profit on calls
X - still holding

....tick tock tick tock...i can't wait 'til the crew gets back from vacation Tuesday as we should start to see committment in volume. Will they shake us out before then or make us chase? Completed my FXI position this morning. Also completed my position in XLU. Copper looks like it's finally ready to break out of a 2 year channel.
"shaken not stirred"-I need to stick with Gold & Oil. Covered XLF,C puts (Sep only)...covered 4horseman (Goog helped me). Treasuries and futures were up this a.m. could see it coming so unwound. Went long calls on MER and GG (breakout?). Bought puts on XTO. Still holding puts on IPI. Took some lumps, to say the least.
Don't worry, you'll get it back. This is a very tricky market. I'm just looking for singles at this point and not committing to either direction. The homeruns will come when volume returns next week. Even with the market up nearly 200, I'm not seeing the bullish "I need to buy or miss the move" action.
getting back some $ now on MER & XTO...placing tight stops as I type. Capital preservation time.
OE, got it all back and then some. phew.Just sold MER Sep 27.5C for a quick double. Sold XTOP for a quick double as well...Thx for the input about volume during this rally. Just doubled up on GG sep 35's..do you see the pennant/consolidation...could get back to the highs of the day before the days out. Stick save today...pure luck.
Awesome! GG may be consolidating but the dollars looks like it wants higher. In any case, I wouldn't make any longer term bets until next week. That said, I picked up a few WM Sep 4 calls in case it is forming a double-bottom. There's an easy stop @ 3.45 but the calls are also very cheap.
Good point...I did take a peak at WM this a.m. would be nice if it pulled off a FNM/FRE. God luck with those. Hit 'em straight!
Gold will start to decouple from the Euro and move higher with the dollar..IMO
